I'd like to formally welcome Richard to BB...he's been a remarkable intern for the last 3 months and has clearly made himself indispensable as he was offered a full-time post on Friday and having spent the weekend mulling it over, accepted this morning. So welcome to the BB bosom. Metaphorically speaking of course, you understand...

What a week!!! sorry i have been tied up for a few days and therfore no blog!but here we go. wed- SMOOTH, what a great day Myself and PJ started out on a dark 5am morning, poor Andrew gave us a lift up to Smooth FM where we met the great Rosie. We spent the day answering the phones and speaking on the radio,(fame at last). The gang at Smooth were fab and such nice people to work with. I crawled out on my knees around 6pm in serch of my bed.
Thur- crawled into the office late! sorry John, got our things together for yet another big night. The Hillingdon Roll out,
after six months of hard work and at times travel chaos nights, were all comming to an end. JQ told me I was driving!!!!!! what!
me, to Hillingdon, oh my god I knew then I should have stayed in bed. We arrived in one piece thank god! Mike Craine has been our godsend in Hillingdon, providing us with more than he had to, top bloke!! as Emma would say. The kids their parents and teachers all turned up in force to support, as did Angela who is now our special friend in Hillingdon. The Mr. Mayor was great and stayed for the whole event as did all the parents and of course the kids. When it was time to leave and say goodbye to those young people, I can honestly say I was chocked, as where they. JQ, Laura and myself had time to reflect on what we had achieved in Hillingdon (DUE TO MY SHORTCUT THAT LEFT US IN TRAFFIC FOR AGES), and we all agreed We are so lucky doing the job we do!!
